The vibrancy and innovation on show at the Radical Independence Conference was a demonstration of just how dynamic the independence movement is becoming. It is a coalition of ideas, organisations and interests, all with their own unique visions of an independent Scotland and united around the notion that Scotland’s people are best placed to choose Scotland’s future. Better Together refuse to recognise this, of course. They’re trying to use the diversity of our movement against us, claiming “confusion” in the ranks of Yes Scotland and creating uncertainty over what decisions will be made at each stage of the independence process.
So we’ve produced another infographic to make it crystal clear that the referendum is only the start of the process; the issues – like currency, the monarchy and international alliances – will be decided democratically in elections to an Independent Scottish Parliament.
